Your account

You must use an email address you control and keep your sign-in access secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the content you save, schedule, or publish. Contact us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it.

You may use the service only where you are legally allowed to do so, and you must comply with applicable law and X’s rules. We may suspend access when necessary to protect accounts, the service, or others, or to address misuse or unpaid charges. We will explain the reason when we reasonably can.

Plans and payment

Individual paid plans are subscriptions. The price, billing interval, included usage limits, and any trial or promotion are shown before you confirm checkout. A monthly plan renews each month at the disclosed price until you cancel. We charge through Stripe; bangers & bash does not store your card details.

Usage allowances, including tracked posts, checks, publishing, URL publishing, and AI, are enforced by the service. Unused allowances do not roll over. If you reach a limit, affected actions pause until your allowance resets or you choose a plan with more capacity. We will show any price or material allowance change before it affects your next renewal.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan from the Billing area in Settings, which opens Stripe’s customer portal, or by contacting us at the address below. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless checkout says otherwise, paid access continues through the end of the current billing period. Disconnecting X or deleting an account does not itself cancel a subscription.

Fees for a billing period already started are generally not prorated, except where law requires otherwise. If you were charged in error or the paid service did not work as described, contact us within 30 days of the charge. We will review the circumstances and issue a refund when appropriate. A refund does not remove any rights you have under applicable law.

X connection and publishing

Connecting X authorizes the access shown on X’s permission screen. Read access is used for your account’s available post and profile data. Publishing requires a separate write-scope opt-in. You review and confirm every post or schedule before it can be sent; an uncertain send is held for review and is not automatically retried.

You retain responsibility for what is published from your X account. X controls its own service, permissions, API availability, and fees. We cannot guarantee that X will accept, deliver, or keep displaying a post. Disconnecting in Settings removes stored access tokens, X profile details, collected posts and measurements from the active database. Publication receipts remain, and posts already published on X are not deleted.

Bash and analytics

Bash uses your stored posts and measurements to answer questions and suggest writing. Its responses may be incomplete or wrong. Review the source posts, numbers, and every draft before using or publishing it. Analytics describe observed data; they do not measure an algorithmic boost or guarantee reach, followers, or other outcomes.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to spam, harass, impersonate, infringe others’ rights, access another person’s account or data without permission, evade service limits, or automate publication beyond the controls we provide. Do not use a connection or account in a way that violates X’s developer or platform rules.

Your writing remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, analyze it at your request, and send it to X when you confirm publication. Our software, design, and marks remain ours or our licensors’.

Changes and support

We may change the service or these terms. We will give notice before a material change takes effect. If you do not accept a change, cancel before it applies and stop using the service. For account, billing, refund, or terms questions, email alex@arclabshq.com.
